24-Hour Care
Often older people prefer to stay at home rather than go into an aged care home. Their own homes are where they feel most comfortable and settled, and also where they feel a sense of continuity with the past. But caring for someone at home is often challenging, especially if the family member is no longer able to provide basic care for themselves.
An alternative to admission into an aged care facility is the 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-days-a-year care provided in the client’s home which covers a wide range of coordinated services carried out by qualified and experienced staff.
Each older person’s needs are different and can change from time to time. Care packaging will therefore vary from one older person to another. OzPol services are designed to accommodate these changing needs, these include:
- dusting
- changing bed linen
- vacuuming
- clothes washing
- sweeping
- ironing
- mopping
- shopping
- meal preparation
- cleaning bathroom/toilets
- cleaning inside fridges
- washing dishes
OzPol has a holistic approach focused on compassion and maintaining the dignity of our valued clients. Our qualified staff provide much needed company to those who like to take advantage of outings, or need travel and support for an appointment or just look forward to a break from the isolation and boredom that can arise when living at home alone.
OzPol’s objective is to allow clients to stay in their own homes while receiving the care they need. Each client has his or her own individual care plan that is discussed at length before and during the course of our service.
