zPol Community Care Association Inc. is a non-profit organisation committed to assisting and promoting the welfare of the aged, infirm, disadvantaged people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. OzPol's main goal is to establish, organise and promote services and facilities for the relief of poverty, illness, distress, disability, dependence and infirmity and to also improve the mental, physical and social well-being of these people.
Currently OzPol provides comprehensive and integrated home care services in Brisbane North, Brisbane South, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast regions of Queensland. OzPol's employees assist clients to maintain independence in their own homes and to help relieve the burden placed on their families with personal hygiene, shopping, meal preparation, laundering, transport to appointments, bill paying and most importantly emotional support. OzPol also provides family caregivers with respite care.
OzPol was formed out of a concern for the health and wellbeing of the elderly. Through our existing community and social links, we have identified a need for the provision of appropriate services for all elderly including those of culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD).
